| Description: | Mocha Sisters Organization (MSO) will host their 2008 National Conference: “Soul of a Woman in Augusta, Georgia on August 7-10, 2008 at the Doubletree Hotel. The keynote speaker will be Mary Major, Creator and Executive Producer of TV One’s “Quiet on the Set. This 4-day event will bring together hundreds of women from across the nation. It will provide personal and professional development for women of all ages and inspire women to live beyond their limits and discover the treasures that lie within their souls. Conference activities will begin on Thursday night with a welcome dinner. Participants will attend workshops and seminars on a range of subjects such as, money management, health and wellness, stress management, entrepreneurship, business planning, and grant writing. The weekend will be filled with networking and social events for example, a benefit MSO Golf Tournament, Soul of a Woman Spa Day, and A Night of Jazz. MSO was created and designed to articulate and promote community awareness, bring unity among women, teach networking skills with other influential and innovative women of color, provide scholarships, and provide a mentoring program and community health fairs.
