Description: Class Meets on Tuesdays, Sept 15 - December 8, from 5:30 - 8:30 pm. Reg Fee is $1024 (includes SHRM Materials) Register early!! It's time to invest in the training that will earn you the designation that sets you apart! Gainesville State College Office of Continuing Education is now a partner with the National Chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). Our Human Resources Management Certificate Program uses the SHRM Learning System Materials. Successful participants should have at least two years of exempt level HR experience. This certificate program will: - Help prepare candidates for the National PHR and SPHR certification examination - Include over 1,000 sample test questions for the HRCI exam - Be lead by an experienced, certified HR practicioner and allow interaction with your peers - Include recent legislative changes and contemporary developments in Human Resources. This first night of class will be an introductory class where students will receive their books, materials and course outlines. This class will meet approximately 90 minutes. Any registratons that are within one week of the class begin date, an extra shipping charge of $40 will be charged in addition to the registration fee At the Society for Human Resource Management Annual Conference held May 7-9 in New Orleans, the Division of Continuing Education at GSC was presented with two awards: Recognition for achieveing a 100% pass rate on the (PHR) Professional in Human Resource Exam during May - June 2007 exam window, and Recognition for more than doubling enrollment in the SHRM Essentials course during 2007-2008.
