Sorry, I'm not in Washington for the Inauguration. But since this blog is inauguration related, I add it here.

Long story short, I ordered a cute little T-shirt for sofia to wear Tuesday for Inauguration Day.  I was pretty psyched about it, and even paid extra for fast shipping so it would get here on time. As of Saturday, I still hadn't received it, and when I tracked the package, turns out it supposedly was left at my front door on Thursday.

So, it seems someone swiped Sofia's Obama shirt.

Well, I hope some toddler out there in the world gets even better use out of his or her T-shirt. and to the jerk who stole it off my front porch, well, karma stinks.

As a parent, all you see are different ways your child can get injured. If you're not careful, you can easily start down a path of thinking most anything is dangerous for your child, between falling out of bed in the morning to ingesting too much toothpaste as they brush ...

Stork Parking: The non-frosted side
April 28, 2009
OK, i'm in a ranting mood, so this is going to be short and sweet.I'm in Kroger the other day, getting Sofia a juice box because for the first half of our 45-minute drive home, she's been screaming, "JUICE! JUICE!" While in line, another Kroger cashier, who was chatting with ...

Stork Parking: Mom's night out
April 21, 2009
Every woman has a constant, running list going through her head at all times of random things. What to pick up at the grocery store. How long it's been since she went for a run. How much sleep she's going to get in the next few days. Just to name ...
