Congrats to "30 Rock" and "Mad Men" for winning outstanding comedy and outstanding drama at last night's Emmys.

I've never watched "30 RocK," but I guess I may start now. They won quite a few awards last night.

I'm really excited "Mad Men" won. I am totally addicted to that show. Also, it was fun to see the show's costume designer Janie Bryant on the stage. She is a Brenau Academy grad and I met her recently when she visited Brenau. Check out the story. If you have not seen this show I highly recommend it. It won a few other awards as well, including one for writing. The show is really well made and completely immerses you in the early 1960s world of a New York ad agency. The smoking, the drinking, the affairs, the prejudices -- it's all there, and it's fascinating to watch such a different world. And then it's not so different, too. It comes on Sundays at 10 p.m. on AMC. If you don't get AMC, you can find it on iTunes. Unfortunately, they don't post full episodes online.
