NHHS Students Explore DNA

Take Me To Post Comment Form

Rebecca Hartfield’s AP Biology students at North hall High School were assigned a project related to scientist that made major discoveries about DNA. The students had several assignments to complete, including a brochure or poster about their scientist, three journal writings as their scientists, and two speculatory essays on what they scientist would think about genetic issues today (cloning, genetic testing, genetic engineering, etc.). On DNA Day the students come dressed as their scientists and had to give an acceptance speech for an award that the student had created. Relevant, meaningful learning going on in our community schools!
