Vote or not vote

Take Me To Post Comment Form

I have been told that I must excerise my right to vote. What about my right not to vote? When I am offered the choices that are available in this year's presidential election, I pass. We are a great country with millions of people that really care about our future. Then why do we have to choose between 2 men that only want to tell us what is wrong with the other one?

Whatever happened to voting "for" a candidate? A candidate that would tell you what they would do and how would they do it. All we hear today are negative comments that is causing a backlash for both parties. I voted for Kennedy, Johnson, Reagen, candidates that told me what they saw as the future for all of us and how it would be done.

Until parties deliver candidates that will do this, I excerise my right not to vote.

I have voted for none of the above. Mickey Mouse. And some of the candidates. In some years, I did not vote as what was being offered was not acceptable to me. I have had to forgo voting because of family.

I was in line to vote this morning. My wife became very sick and we had to leave.

I hope I get another chance today but IF I don't, I'm okay with the outcome. Have to be.

I might have elected Mickey Mouse. I might have only voted for one candidate.

But, I'd like to vote. That doesn't mean I have to force you or anyone else to vote.

Not voting is voting against the entire system.

Never said I wouldn't vote in other races, only that I would not vote in the president's race.

I finally got to vote about 6 pm.

Voted in only 2 races.

That's exactly how many I voted in.

Hoping for better choices in the future.

Is the city of Oakwood going broke? By the number of police cars stopping citzens, one might think so. Recently, I was pulling out of the Publix lot. There had always been "Yield" signs to the right. I pulled up to look to the left, saw cars coming and waited ...
