North Hall TE picks up new offers

North Hall football coach Bob Christmas called Thursday morning from high in the hills of East Tennessee to let me know that TE D.J. Miolen, a senior, picked up an offer from Georgia Southern University. According to Christmas, the Eagles are recruiting Miolen (6-3, 252 pounds) as either a tight end or defensive end.

Already, Miolen has offers from Air Force, Citadel, Liberty, Southern Illinois and Western Carolina, according to Rivals.com.

He joins C.J. Curry as a highly recruitied players for North Hall. Two weeks ago, Curry, a junior, picked up an offer from the University of Georgia. Trojans junior running back Imani Cross already has an offer from South Carolina.
