Are you tired of all those uppity, employed people talking on their fancy I-Phones? Well cell phone parity is within your reach with the all new O-Phone. If you think that holding a job is just too much trouble, don’t miss out on the FCC-declared “Right to a Cell Phone.”
Yes, the list of “rights” just keeps growing. And the bill is paid by those with the audacity to stay employed. Now, if you are willing to live on the confiscated wealth of the people who actually pay their own way in the world, then the “Great Equalizer” will conquer the harsh injustice of economic laws to give you a cell phone – free!
Why bother with the hassle of working?
Why worry about paying the costs of your own existence?
Why become a responsible person?
Obama and his FCC Czar will make sure you can communicate just like a productive member of society!
The shiny new Safelink Wireless prepaid cell phone (aka – Obamaphone) can help you feel connected just like all those responsible adults who have jobs. Now you can talk while riding the publicly subsidized bus on the way to use your Medicaid Card at the doctor, or while going to pick up your food stamps and welfare check. Isn’t that great? What a country!
But there are problems with the service. In an article entitled: “Safelink Wireless: When “Free” Isn’t a Great Deal,” one blogger complains that to buy additional minutes (over the 68 “free” ones you are awarded for being a perpetual burden on your honest neighbors), costs a whopping six cents per minute more than the lowest price available to people who actually buy their own pre-paid phones with money they earned.
Of all the injustice! This is obviously a case of evil price gouging inflicted upon defenseless parasites by greedy, opportunistic, mustache twisting, robber-barons!
But I am sure if you write your Congressman, they can fix that with more subsidies. And, if your schedule of making more babies you can’t support is too hectic, your local “community activists” can perpetrate some Chicago-style political extortion to secure your “right” to unlimited free minutes.
But wait! Coming soon! With all the money Obama’s Car-Czar saved by dissolving the lawful compensation contracts for executives at GM (Government Motors), soon the chronically dependent will be given a new “Obamacar” to liberate them from the inhumane conditions of riding otherwise empty taxpayer subsidized mass transit.
Since people have a “right” to “free” private transportation, your new “Obamacar” will come with a “free” fuel and maintenance package so you don’t have to take responsibility for maintaining your own vehicle. But you know how it works sometimes. Parking your new car in a bad neighborhood can result in theft or vandalism. Then the injustice of not having an enclosed garage in your taxpayer subsidized housing will result in the declaration that everyone has a “right” to a garage to park their “free” Obamacar.
What other undeclared “rights” do you have? Well, the sky’s the limit! How about “free” computers and internet access? You also deserve new Obama-furniture, and Obama-vacations to Disney World, Obama-jewelry, Obama-yachts!
Put on your thinking cap (you know the one you abandoned as a tool for self-sufficiency). Start making your Christmas (oops, I mean holiday) list. Demand your “rights” loudly (especially during a Congressional election campaign) so the government can give you more stuff in exchange for your vote!
Or, to keep it all fair, why not just declare that EVERYONE has a RIGHT to EVERYTHING! Just imagine – the standard of living for the poor could exceed that of the decadent, exploitative and greedy rich. Then there would be no reason for anyone to endure the drudgery of ever having to work or produce anything ever again – because the magic of government could provide for all our needs and desires.
Isn’t government wonderful?
