Atlanta Half Marathon
Staff - Sports reporter

Take Me To Post Comment Form

I was one of the 4,000 runners that tackled the Atlanta half marathon on Sunday morning at Oglethorpe University.

I thought it was really a race of two halves. While the first half was fairly flat, the second half was quite challenging with the hills, especially between miles 9-12. I finished with a time of 1:46. Good, not great.

Did anyone else around here run the race? What did you think about the course?

Congrats to my running partner from Braselton for the better part of the second half of the race. You did a great job for your first half marathon!
